Professor Chung Yun-Ying from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Yuan Ze University is shedding new light on Vietnamese culture.

When we think of Vietnam, what comes to mind? Delicious pho, spring rolls, unique flavors of French bread, or perhaps the beautiful traditional attire called “ao dai” worn by Vietnamese brides and the gathering of migrant workers at train stations.

While these elements are familiar to most Taiwanese people, few truly understand this country. Professor Chung Yun-Ying is taking a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich religious and cultural landscape, offering a fresh perspective on Vietnamese culture.
