Yuan Ze University’s Membrane Biosensor (mBio – Membrane Biosensor) team was invited to participate in Georgia Tech’s flagship annual startup event, CREATE-X Demo Day, where they presented their breakthrough nucleic acid detection prototype to more than 2,000 global investors, entrepreneurs, and experts.
As the global trend toward net zero emissions continued to rise, Yuan Ze University (YZU) once again achieved remarkable success. Led by Assistant Professor Song-Yu Chen from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, YZU formed a cross-university research team in collaboration with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) and Ming Chi University of Technology.
The 2025 National University and College Faculty Bowling Championship was held from August 23 to 25 at the Zhongli Asian Games Bowling Center. Faculty and staff teams from 14 universities across Taiwan gathered for three days of intense competition.
Yuan Ze University once again achieved remarkable success in the National AI Automation Competition. A team of five students from the Department of Information Management—Ping-Lin Lee, Yi-Wen Liao, Kai-Ning Yu, Wei-Shan Chen, and Kai-Hung Chen—guided by Associate Professor Jui-Chien Hsieh, competed in the finals of the 14th National AI Automation Equipment Innovation Contest for University Students.
Students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University delivered an outstanding performance in the 2025 Engineering Paper Competition organized by the Student Chapter of the Chinese Institute of Engineers.
Dr. Anal Paul, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University, garnered international attention with his latest research, which was successfully published in the prestigious IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
Saki Sendoda, a student from Japan, graduated this year from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yuan Ze University. In September, she would begin a new chapter in her tech career as she joined TSMC in Kumamoto, Japan, as an equipment engineer.
