To strengthen its global alumni connections, Yuan Ze University recently held a series of overseas alumni reunion events in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The gatherings attracted enthusiastic participation from many alumni, creating warm and lively atmospheres that reflected the deep bonds and strong cohesion of the Yuan Ze community.
Professor Yun-Chia Liang, Chief of the Global Affairs Office at Yuan Ze University; Assistant Professor Panca Jodiawan, currently teaching at YZU; and Billy, a PhD student, visited Indonesia and hosted the Indonesian Alumni Dinner as part of their trip. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with alumni, including Arya Ondrio, President of the Indonesian Alumni Association, and Twin Yoshua Rahajo, Vice President, further strengthening ties within the global YZU community. Thank you to all alumni who participated and continue to support the YZU community abroad.
In Hanoi, Vietnam, Chun-Nan Pan, Director of the Public Affairs and Alumni Service Center, invited local alumni to a reunion gathering. The group happily exchanged stories about their work and daily lives, rekindling old friendships and enhancing their connections through warm and engaging interactions.
In Ho Chi Minh City, representatives from the Global Affairs Office, including Yi-Jung Hsiao, Min-Min Hsiao, and Wan-Ling Chang, met with alumni to share life updates since graduation. Alumni expressed gratitude to their alma mater for its continued care and dedication to supporting the development and sense of belonging of overseas graduates.
Additionally, while attending education fairs in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Yuan Ze team arranged special alumni dinners. These gatherings allowed for exchanges with local alumni and provided opportunities to share updates about the university, further strengthening Yuan Ze’s alumni bonds in Malaysia.
Yuan Ze University extended heartfelt thanks to all participating overseas alumni. Their care and support for their alma mater significantly contributed to a more connected global Yuan Ze community. Looking ahead, the university planned to organize more overseas reunions to further enhance alumni engagement and collaboration, fostering new opportunities for international development.
