With support from the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Sprout Project, Yuan Ze University promoted the Happy Learning Camp initiative, in which students independently planned and carried out diverse service activities. Ranging from academic tutoring to community outreach, the program continuously responded to the needs of different groups through concrete action. Recently, student teams visited a homeless service station, rural tutoring sites, and a long-term care center. Through hands-on experiences in different settings, students gained a deeper understanding of the value of service and witnessed the changes and meaning brought about by companionship.

A student team from the International Bachelor’s Program in English (IBSC), College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Yuan Ze University, won the National Best Featured Student Club Activity Award, placing among the top ten nationwide, with its cross-cultural service project “We Are The World.” Guided by the Extracurricular Activities Section, the team stood out among numerous university student organizations across Taiwan.

With support from the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Sprout Project, the Happy Learning Camp at Yuan Ze University held a “Team Launch Project Planning Workshop.” The workshop invited instructor Chao-Wei Lin to guide participants in learning core project planning methods starting from service needs. Through conceptual instruction and hands-on practice, the workshop helped students transform ideas into concrete and feasible action plans, enhancing teamwork and execution efficiency.
