The 6th “Fun Beida: Kids on the Streets” event, organized by the Taiwan Fun Beida Cultural and Educational Development Association and acclaimed as the “largest street game in Asia,” was held on October 18 in the Beida community of New Taipei City. This year, the event attracted over ten thousand participants, including families and children.
YZU Club
The Office of Student Affairs at Yuan Ze University led the university’s volunteer team, the Life Ambassadors, in organizing a community outreach event titled “Heartfelt Mid-Autumn, Sharing Love and Warmth.” The initiative brought students into local neighborhoods, where they personally delivered mooncakes to elderly residents living alone, spreading warmth and care ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Yuan Ze University’s Department of Art and Design partnered with five elementary schools in the Northeast Coast of New Taipei City to launch the “Legend of the Brave AI Camp.”
The “Autumn Japan Fair” hosted by Zhongli SOGO Department Store on September 13 and 14 invited Yuan Ze University’s Hip-Hop Club and Kendo Club to perform, presenting “Japanese Street Dance” and “Kendo Culture.” The fusion of trend and tradition offered a unique cultural feast that attracted continuous crowds and created a lively atmosphere.
From June 22 to July 8, 2025, 13 young volunteers from Yuan Ze University’s International Volunteer Team, the Taoyuan Youth Association, and ASUS Volunteers carried out a 17-day educational service trip to Matthed Da Tong High School in Northern Thailand.
To welcome new students to campus life, Yuan Ze University held its Club Expo on September 11–12. Nearly 50 student clubs gathered at the event, presenting their features through booths and stage performances while actively recruiting new members. The lively atmosphere successfully drew large crowds of freshmen as well as international students.
On June 24, 2025, the Northern Thailand International Volunteer Team from Yuan Ze University, led by Hsiu-Chu Lin, traveled deep into the mountainous region of Chiang Rai to visit Taikwang Elementary School.
