Hydrogen/Fuel Cell Technology Integrated with AI Applications – Workshop Successfully Held at Yuan Ze University

Yuan Ze University’s Green Technology Research Center launched its first professional training workshop on AI applications and hydrogen/fuel cell technologies, aiming to cultivate talent in these emerging fields.

Amid the global push toward net-zero emissions, hydrogen has been regarded as one of the most promising clean energy sources, with growing significance in transportation, energy storage, and industrial applications.

In response to Taiwan’s dual drivers of energy transition and industrial upgrading, significant efforts have been made in the R&D and application of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. However, challenges remained in areas such as materials science, system integration, regulatory frameworks, and industrial chain development. To address the increasing need for interdisciplinary knowledge and skilled professionals, this workshop was designed to provide a forward-looking and systematic curriculum, integrating hydrogen energy, fuel cells, AI, and industrial applications.

The course was well-suited for professionals in energy, materials, electrical engineering, and AI, as well as policymakers. With a balanced focus on theory and practical application, the workshop supported Taiwan’s vision for green sustainability and the localization of the hydrogen energy industry.

Course Overview:
A. A series on hydrogen technology and fuel cell system management and design
B. Market analysis, system testing techniques, and field visits to hydrogen and fuel cell verification sites

Eligibility: Technical R&D professionals from related industries or individuals with a strong interest in the field

Course Dates: August 28 (Thursday) to August 29 (Friday), 2025 (14 hours total)

Certificate: Participants who completed the full program received a certificate of completion.
