Assistant Professor Yang-Teng Fan from the Graduate Institute of Medicine at Yuan Ze University, together with a cross-university research team from Taipei Medical University, National Chengchi University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, recently published their latest findings in NeuroImage, a leading international journal in neuroscience.

When people thought of children’s literature and classical literature, they might have assumed the two had nothing in common. Yet in the academic and creative career of Assistant Professor Shu Yen from the Department of Chinese Linguistics and Literature at Yuan Ze University, these two seemingly distant paths were closely intertwined—revealing the boundless possibilities of Chinese literary studies.
As the global trend toward net zero emissions continued to rise, Yuan Ze University (YZU) once again achieved remarkable success. Led by Assistant Professor Song-Yu Chen from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, YZU formed a cross-university research team in collaboration with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) and Ming Chi University of Technology.
In August 2025, Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford, in collaboration with ASIA SDG ACTION EDUCATION, hosted the “Visiting Expert Programme: IFRS, TNFD, and Carbon Finance.” The nine-day program focused on major issues such as sustainable finance, energy transition, carbon markets, and ecological conservation.
The 2025 National University and College Faculty Bowling Championship was held from August 23 to 25 at the Zhongli Asian Games Bowling Center. Faculty and staff teams from 14 universities across Taiwan gathered for three days of intense competition.
Yuan Ze University’s Membrane Biosensor (mBio – Membrane Biosensor) team was invited to participate in Georgia Tech’s flagship annual startup event, CREATE-X Demo Day, where they presented their breakthrough nucleic acid detection prototype to more than 2,000 global investors, entrepreneurs, and experts.
Yuan Ze University once again achieved remarkable success in the National AI Automation Competition. A team of five students from the Department of Information Management—Ping-Lin Lee, Yi-Wen Liao, Kai-Ning Yu, Wei-Shan Chen, and Kai-Hung Chen—guided by Associate Professor Jui-Chien Hsieh, competed in the finals of the 14th National AI Automation Equipment Innovation Contest for University Students.
