Global Views Monthly released the results of its 2026 Survey of Most Favored Universities and Interns by Employers, in which Yuan Ze University delivered an outstanding performance among private general universities in Northern Taiwan.
The recognition once again highlighted the University’s long-term commitment to industry–academia collaboration and forward-looking talent cultivation, underscoring the strong alignment between its educational strategy and industry needs, as well as the high regard employers held for the professional competence and global competitiveness of its graduates.
According to the survey, Yuan Ze University has continuously advanced the integration of digital technologies into teaching, building solid foundations across engineering, information technology, and management disciplines. By actively incorporating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and big data into curriculum design, the University enabled students to develop interdisciplinary integration skills and practical problem-solving capabilities during their studies, preparing them as industry-ready talents highly sought after by employers.
Yuan Ze University was also among the earliest universities in Taiwan to promote all-English academic programs. Through bilingual instruction, international exchange opportunities, and cross-border collaboration initiatives, the University strengthened students’ global mobility and cross-cultural communication skills, giving graduates a competitive edge in industries characterized by the parallel advancement of technology and globalization.
As a university affiliated with the Far Eastern Group, Yuan Ze University has long adopted industry–academia integration as a core institutional strategy, establishing a closely connected talent development mechanism with enterprises. Through corporate internships, co-teaching by industry professionals, practice-oriented capstone projects, and research and development collaborations, students were able to engage with real industrial environments during their studies, effectively narrowing the gap between academic learning and practical application.
In terms of its learning environment, Yuan Ze University has continued to deepen the development of a smart campus and digital learning infrastructure, creating integrated learning spaces that combine cloud-based platforms, interdisciplinary practice areas, and innovative maker hubs. This comprehensive environment provided students with a seamless pathway from theory to application. The University had also consistently performed strongly in higher education evaluations and assessments of industry collaboration outcomes, earning repeated recognition from both industry and academia for its achievements in teaching innovation, depth of corporate partnerships, internship placement rates, and graduate employment performance.
In addition, Yuan Ze University has actively promoted interdisciplinary programs and flexible curriculum structures, encouraging students to integrate expertise across engineering, information technology, management, humanities, and design. Through industry linkage initiatives, real corporate cases were introduced into teaching, strengthening project-based learning and problem-solving abilities, and shaping a distinctive talent cultivation model characterized by “learning by doing and doing by learning.”
Yuan Ze University stated that amid the waves of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the role of higher education had shifted from knowledge transmission to the cultivation of innovative talents capable of solving real-world problems. Looking ahead, the University would continue to deepen the integration of AI across all disciplines while strengthening internationalization, interdisciplinary learning, and industry–academia collaboration.
