Yuan Ze University Partnered with Chien Hsin Co., Ltd. to Promote the TOEIC Honors Program

Yuan Ze University continued to strengthen students’ global competitiveness as the College of Electrical and Communication Engineering formally signed a memorandum of understanding with Chien Hsin Co., Ltd. to launch the TOEIC Honors Program.

Through this collaboration, the two parties jointly promoted a talent cultivation model that emphasized both professional education and English proficiency, intending to enhance students’ readiness for international careers.

Dun‑Yu Chen, Dean of the College of Electrical and Communication Engineering, Yuan Ze University, stated that the partnership provided substantial benefits for both faculty and students. In addition to giving students more opportunities to take English proficiency assessments, the program also helped them develop language skills beyond their professional disciplines. He noted that students who registered for related examinations could enjoy exclusive discounts and access to diverse learning resources, which positively enhanced learning motivation and career preparation. Faculty members were also able to participate in a range of English proficiency certification and instructional resource activities, helping to create a learning environment that integrated technical expertise with strong language competence.

Dean Chen further emphasized that by combining corporate resources with the University’s research capacity, the program helped students cultivate communication skills and cross-disciplinary competitiveness required in international workplaces while still enrolled, thereby nurturing professionals with a global perspective.

Wen‑Chung Huang, Marketing Center Manager of Chien Hsin Co., Ltd., remarked that Yuan Ze University had long played a key role in cultivating critical talents for Taiwan’s information and communications technology industry. With relevant colleges across the University participating in succession, this collaboration symbolized a comprehensive alignment among Yuan Ze University’s core teaching units. Together, both parties aimed to advance a new model that integrated English proficiency development with professional education.
