Yuan Ze University recently announced the recipients of its 7th Distinguished Alumni Awards. In accordance with the Yuan Ze University Distinguished Alumni Selection Guidelines, and following approval by the Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee on December 23, 2025, a total of five alumni were selected this year in recognition of their outstanding achievements in industry leadership, technological innovation, organizational management, and alumni service, as well as their long-term contributions to society and the university.
The five awardees had each demonstrated deep professional commitment in their respective fields and showed strong influence in business and public service. They had also actively given back to society and their alma mater, fully reflecting the professional excellence and social responsibility of Yuan Ze University alumni. The list of the 7th Distinguished Alumni Award winners (ordered by year of enrollment and graduation) was as follows:
Chien-Chin Lien served as Chief Executive Officer of ALi Corporation and had long contributed to the development of the information technology industry, with extensive experience in corporate management, strategic integration, and organizational transformation. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Engineering (enrolled 1990, graduated 1994), and his master’s degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (enrolled 1994, graduated 1996).
Wu-Ching Wang served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Highlight Tech Corporation and had worked in the optoelectronics industry for many years, leading steady corporate growth and demonstrating strong industry influence. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, College of Engineering (enrolled 1992, graduated 1996).
Chia-Cheng Lu served as General Manager of the Taiwan Business Group at Cisco and had long been engaged in international business management and technology industry development, demonstrating outstanding cross-national leadership and management capability. He graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, College of Engineering (enrolled 1998, graduated 2002).
Kun-Nan Wei served as Chairperson of the Yuan Ze University Alumni Association and had long dedicated himself to alumni organization development and university support. He actively integrated alumni resources across regions, promoted diverse alumni activities, strengthened alumni cohesion, and enhanced connections between alumni and the university. He graduated from the Executive Master of Business Administration Program, College of Management (enrolled 2008, graduated 2009), and later completed the Doctoral Program, College of Management (enrolled 2011, graduated 2018).
Yao-Hsing Yu served as Chairperson of Yaosing Technology Co., Ltd. and had demonstrated outstanding performance in corporate management and industry development. He had also actively participated in alumni organizations and related initiatives, consistently giving back to his alma mater. He graduated from the Executive Master of Business Administration Program, College of Management (enrolled 2016, graduated 2018).
Yuan Ze University stated that the 7th Distinguished Alumni Award recipients would be formally honored at the university’s 37th Anniversary Celebration and Alumni Banquet. The recognition highlighted their exceptional contributions to society, industry, and the university. The university also noted that it hoped the exemplary achievements of these distinguished alumni would inspire greater alumni cohesion and jointly advance the university’s continued honor and sustainable development.
