Yuan Ze University’s newly established Department of Nursing will welcome its first cohort of students in September.
To design a “human-centered” smart nursing education program, the university has appointed former Distinguished Professor Bi-Ching Hsu from National Cheng Kung University as an Honorary Professor. Professor Hsu holds a Ph.D. in Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University and boasts a rich academic and professional background, with over 100 published scholarly articles. She is highly esteemed in the international nursing community. In 2021, she was honored in Stanford University’s global survey, being listed among the “World’s Top 2% Scientists 2020” for “Lifetime Scientific Influence (1960-2020)” and “2020 Scientific Influence.” Professor Hsu will assist in planning the curriculum and internships for the Department of Nursing and promote its development.
