Yuan Ze University’s "Global Cultural Initiative" program once again earned high recognition from the Ministry of Education, securing a total subsidy of NT$22.5 million for 2024-2026 to continue advancing local education and improving education in rural areas. Professor Huang Yu-Lan, the program leader, stated that the initiative started by addressing the needs of various communities. It collaborated with 17 elementary and junior high schools, one high school under the Education Priority Areas Project, four neighborhood communities, and a rare disease children’s home to provide customized enhancements to educational quality. The program also integrated special education in arts and senior-friendly English programs for older adults, striving to contribute to Taoyuan City’s global education development goals.
