YZUniverse Freshman Charity Campus Concert Warmly Held

The “YZUniverse—Freshman Charity Campus Concert,” organized by the Yuan Ze University Student Association, was grandly held on the evening of November 6 at the softball field next to Building 2. The event brought together popular singers and outstanding on-campus clubs, attracting a large number of students and faculty. The atmosphere was lively, with continuous applause throughout the concert.

The concert focused on the theme of “Music × Youth Culture”, aiming to create a stage where students could freely showcase their talents and connect emotionally. The event invited accomplished singers Howard Lee (Li Hao-Wei), Sabrina Hu (Hu Xun-Wu), Lü Yun, G.WeiLee (Li Jin-Wei), Song Chen-Xing, and Guo Jia-Wei to perform, presenting a diverse range of musical styles. Campus clubs, including the Hip-Hop Club, MIDI Music Club, MV Dance Club, Recording Club, Hot Dance Club, and Guitar Club, also shared the stage, singing and dancing to showcase Yuan Ze’s youthful energy.

The concert opened at 6:00 PM, with performances starting at 6:30 PM. It incorporated a charitable element by allowing students to exchange three receipts for a raffle ticket to enter, encouraging participants to support public welfare while enjoying the music. This design not only increased engagement but also enabled each student to contribute to society, reflecting the spirit of “joyful participation, collective growth, and warm sharing.”

The event coordinators, Jia-Yu Zhou from the School of Nursing and Song-Bo Hong from the Department of Computer Science, stated that they hoped the resonance of music would encourage more students to actively participate in campus activities, promote the development of student clubs, and enhance opportunities for teamwork and self-realization. They also paid special attention to the needs of freshmen, aiming to make the event an important starting point for them to get to know the campus and integrate into university life, opening a new chapter of youth. They expressed gratitude to the event team for their hard work and to all attendees for helping make the concert a success.
