Twenty-eight outstanding business and management students were inducted into the society, recognizing their academic achievements as among the top tier of business students worldwide.
The University noted that Beta Gamma Sigma is a prestigious global honor society in business, with membership limited to students nominated by AACSB-accredited business schools. As such, BGS membership is widely regarded as a significant indicator of academic excellence. The inductees represented diverse academic levels, including three doctoral students, two students from the Executive Master’s Program, two MBA students, and 21 undergraduate juniors and seniors.
The ceremony was conducted in a solemn yet warm atmosphere. In their remarks, representatives of the society encouraged the inductees, noting that BGS membership recognizes past academic performance and offers opportunities to connect with business leaders worldwide through the society’s global network, thereby expanding international perspectives and career prospects. The students were also seen to embody the three core values upheld by BGS—honor, wisdom, and earnestness.
The College of Management, Yuan Ze University, stated that hosting international honor society induction ceremonies such as this not only motivated students to pursue academic excellence but also contributed to enhancing the overall academic environment and international competitiveness of the College. The ceremony concluded successfully at 3:00 p.m., with award recipients posing for commemorative photographs with faculty members, family, and friends, bringing the event to a warm and memorable close.
Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is one of the world’s oldest and most authoritative business honor societies. Membership is conferred only upon the highest‑achieving students at each institution and is widely recognized as a significant international academic distinction in the field of business.
