Yuan Ze University Teams Up with Xiaoli Elementary School to Showcase the Endless Possibilities of Sports Promotion

Under the guidance of Professor Wang Yi-Yun, 49 students from Yuan Ze University's College of General Studies course on childhood culture visited Xiaoli Elementary School to participate in a "Sports Promotion" DFC (Design for Change) collaborative program.

The activity aimed to help 23 sixth-grade students from Xiaoli Elementary design sports activities suitable for campus promotion, using discussions and hands-on experiences to spark interest and enthusiasm for sports.

On the event day, Xiaoli Elementary students eagerly gathered in the activity center, excitedly awaiting the arrival of Yuan Ze University students. The session began with a fun and relaxed ice-breaking game, which quickly created an energetic and joyful atmosphere, bringing the two groups closer together. During the practical segment of the DFC program, Yuan Ze students and the elementary students worked in teams to brainstorm and design engaging and practical sports activities tailored to the school’s needs. These included badminton, volleyball, jump rope, and dodgeball, combining creativity with real-world applicability.
