Yuan Ze University Alumni Association in Mainland China Celebrated Its 2nd Anniversary in Chengdu, Strengthening Bonds Among Alumni and Connection with Alma Mater

The Yuan Ze University Alumni Association in Mainland China celebrated its second anniversary in Chengdu, Sichuan, from October 31 to November 3, 2025.

Yuan Ze University President Ching-Jong Liao led a delegation that included Jiun-Nan Pan, Director of the Public Affairs and Alumni Service Center, to join the gathering with alumni from across the region. Kun-Nan Wei, President of the Yuan Ze University Alumni Association, and Jen-Hao Hsiao, President of the Central Taiwan Alumni Association, also traveled to Chengdu to extend their congratulations, demonstrating the strong unity and spirit that connect Yuan Ze alumni across different regions.

The event was meticulously planned by alumnus Hung-Yang Kuo, General Manager of the Asia-Taiwan Youth (Chengdu) Cross-Strait Entrepreneurship Park, and actively organized by Mainland Alumni Association President Jan-Xuan Ke and her leadership team. The celebration brought together alumni from various cities, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

During the event, President Liao shared recent developments and achievements of Yuan Ze University, including outstanding student recruitment performance, advancements in bilingual and AI education, deeper industry-academia collaboration, expanded international exchanges, and efforts toward sustainability. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the alumni’s long-term support and care, hoping that the alumni association would continue to serve as a platform to strengthen mutual connections and collaborations, extending the Yuan Ze spirit and influence worldwide.

After hearing updates on the university’s progress, many alumni expressed pride and excitement over Yuan Ze’s continuous innovation and achievements. The event was filled with nostalgia and heartfelt memories of their student days.

In addition to the anniversary banquet, the program also included visits to alumni-founded enterprises and local companies. Director Pan remarked that the event not only strengthened bonds among alumni in Mainland China but also deepened the relationship and cooperation between the university and its graduates. Looking ahead, Yuan Ze University will continue to promote the development of a global alumni network, encouraging associations in different countries and regions to maintain interaction and share resources, so that the Yuan Ze spirit can continue to grow and flourish worldwide.
