The Huaxiang Yuanmeng International Volunteer Team of Yuan Ze University traveled to Taiping, Perak, Malaysia, during the summer break and carried out a two-week international volunteer service program. For the third consecutive year, the team collaborated with Hua Lian High School, visited Taiping Peace Children’s Home for the second year, and expanded its service locations for the first time to Sin Min Primary School. Through courses in information technology, sustainable development, and cultural exchange, the volunteers deepened educational exchanges and youth engagement between Taiwan and Malaysia.

In addition to providing educational services at Doi Tung Maesadadet School in northern Thailand, Yuan Ze University’s international volunteer team also visited Guang Ming Elementary School and Han Guang Elementary School, where educational resources and teaching staff were even more limited. Through reading education, language learning, creative activities, and follow-up visits to school libraries, the team brought both educational resources and companionship into remote mountainous areas, continuing to fulfill Yuan Ze University’s nearly 20-year educational mission in northern Thailand.

Yuan Ze University’s international volunteer team, together with ASUS volunteers, formed a group of 12 young volunteers who carried out an 18-day educational service program at Doi Tung Maesadadet School in northern Thailand from June 28 to July 15, under the leadership of Hsiu-Chu Lin. For nearly 20 years, Yuan Ze University has continuously devoted itself to educational services in northern Thailand, supporting the growth of children in rural areas through companionship.

To promote interdisciplinary education in artificial intelligence, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Yuan Ze University hosted the “2026 Humanities and Social Sciences Camp: AI Humanities Innovation Lab,” attracting nearly 60 senior high school and vocational high school students. Centered on generative AI, humanistic literacy, and interdisciplinary practice, the camp featured a diverse range of courses on smart cities, digital creation, language learning, and game design. The program guided participants in exploring innovative AI applications across different fields while cultivating AI literacy, creative thinking, and critical reasoning skills.

Fourteen students from Yuan Ze University formed the 12th Career Exploration Team and spent six months preparing for the project. In collaboration with Grandpa Huang’s Home, a program of the Huang Lie-Huo Social Welfare Foundation, the team recently organized the five-day Little Career Explorers Community Service Camp at Ding-She Elementary School in Luzhu District, Taoyuan.

With the summer vacation approaching, Yuan Ze University's Department of Applied Foreign Languages ​​meticulously planned the "International Cuisine English Camp" and the "Taste of Japanese Cuisine Japanese Camp," attracting nearly 60 high school students to the campus during their holidays.
