Hosted by the Arts Center of Yuan Ze University and co-curated by Professor Chu-Ching Lin of the Department of Art and Design together with students from the junior-level Design Studio course, the exhibition “Dual-Tone” was presented at the university’s Arts Center (Building 3, 1st Floor, Room 3106) and ran through February 26, 2026.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University delivered an outstanding performance at the San-Hao AI Innovation Application Competition, with two student teams receiving Honorable Mention awards. The achievement demonstrated the students’ excellence in innovative AI applications, interdisciplinary integration, and practice-oriented learning.
Amid the global restructuring of industrial supply chains and the rise of AI, cross-disciplinary management talent became the core asset that corporations competed for. The College of Management at Yuan Ze University, guided by its development strategy of “innovation, adaptability, and internationalization,” endeavored to transform itself into a key think tank supporting industrial upgrading.
The lecture “An English Class That Could Change Your Life,” delivered by English education instructor Mindy Ou, successfully concluded at Yuan Ze University on January 11. The event attracted both students and members of the public, generating an enthusiastic response and reflecting learners’ strong interest in finding the “right way to learn English.”
As colleges and universities across Taiwan entered what became the longest winter break in history—nearly two months long—the concern arose about how to prevent students from “lying flat” and letting the time slip by. In response, Yuan Ze University’s International Language and Culture Center launched an innovative self-directed learning activity during this year’s winter vacation.
To guide young people in reflecting on the nature of life and their sense of self, the General Education Center invited Professor Xianzong Lai of the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taipei University to deliver a lecture titled “Taoist Life Wisdom: Bringing Students a New Perspective on Life.” Through classical texts, he led students to explore how to face suffering and change in everyday life. The venue was filled, and students expressed that they had gained greatly from the experience.
Yuan Ze University’s deep-cultivation USR project, the Global Cultural Initiative, continued to expand its international cooperation network and added another key partner on December 18. Vice Ambassador Cassailis Jaron of the Embassy of the Republic of the Marshall Islands in Taiwan and Project Director Professor Yu-Lan Huang officially signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of both sides.
