Yuan Ze University held the "2025 Taiwan Thin Film International Conference and International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence-driven Zero-Carbon Technology and Bio-circular Economy (IMCT & AICNCB 2025)" from May 15 to 16, 2025, attracting scholars, experts and graduate students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries to participate in the event, with as many as 200 participants.
In response to the global trend of net-zero carbon emissions and to promote green energy technological innovation and deepen energy education, Yuan Ze University has undertaken the Ministry of Education's "Multi-faceted Promotion of the Establishment of Solar Photovoltaic Pioneer Project" and held the "New Trends in Green Energy: Hydrogen Energy, Biomass Energy and Energy Storage Forum" on May 15, inviting experts from industry, government, academia and research to focus on forward-looking energy issues such as hydrogen energy, biomass energy and energy storage, and to discuss Taiwan's key strategies and technical paths on the road to net zero.
The Department of Chinese Linguistics and Literature at Yuan Ze University (YZU) had long been dedicated to international academic exchange, actively establishing strong partnerships with top universities worldwide to broaden students’ global perspectives and enhance their humanistic literacy.
In response to the Ministry of Education’s 2025 “Subsidy Program for Promoting Campus Mental Health in Universities,” Yuan Ze University’s School of Nursing invited Dr. Yi-Ju Pan, a psychiatrist from Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, to deliver a lecture titled "Challenges and Developments in Mental and Psychological Health."
As artificial intelligence continued to evolve at a rapid pace, the shape of the future workplace also underwent significant transformation. On May 21, 2025, Yuan Ze University invited alumnus Hsiu-Ming Lin, a 1984 graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, to deliver an inspiring talk titled “Adaptability × Boundary-Breaking Thinking: Creating Your Irreplaceability.” The lecture drew a large number of students eager to gain insight into navigating careers in the AI era.
