The Ministry of Culture’s innovative book fair project, “Book in Taoyuan: Reading Landscape and Book Market,” was held on October 18–19 at Bade 77 Chocolate Republic. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, organized by Si-Fei Bookroom, and co-organized by the Taoyuan Public Library, Taoyuan Independent Bookstore Group, and Taoyuan Niujiao Arts Association.

The 2025 Taoyuan Youth Design Exhibition and International Design Forum, organized by the Taoyuan City Government’s Department of Youth Affairs and co-executed by Yuan Ze University’s Department of Art and Design and Department of Information Communication, was grandly held at the Taoyuan Convention and Exhibition Center from November 1 to 7.

In recent years, scams have appeared in countless forms, and financial traps have been everywhere. Scams had become a topic that everyone needed to learn to guard against. The College of General Studies at Yuan Ze University recently invited Chih-Han Jan, a senior officer from Mega Bank, to give a lecture titled “Seeing Through Scams: Cases of Financial and Investment Fraud.”

The Department of Art and Design at Yuan Ze University held the “YZU Art & Design 24HR Open” workshop and exhibition, inviting artist Yu-Ting Lin as the instructor. Lin, whose works had been exhibited in and collected by various art museums, actively collaborated with schools and art institutions to promote co-creation projects.

Guided by the core concept of environmental sustainability, Yuan Ze University’s Department of Art and Design was invited to participate in the 2025 New Taipei Wetlands Art Festival – The Journey of Seeds, organized by the New Taipei City Government. The department presented a striking installation titled “The Geometry of Seeds: Symbiosis in Opposition,” exhibited under the Xinmoon Bridge in Banqiao’s Second Xinhai Artificial Wetland through November 4.
