To promote international Chinese language education and multicultural exchange, the Chinese Language Center at Yuan Ze University has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Topkey Human Resource Consultants Co., Ltd. The two parties integrated educational and industry resources to jointly develop a globally influential Chinese language learning platform, aiming to cultivate international talents equipped with both language proficiency and cross-cultural competence.

The “Yuan-Yuan Kamishibai” intergenerational learning program, jointly organized by Yuan Ze University and Taoyuan Municipal Yuansheng Elementary School, had entered its second year. Through collaboration between the General Education Center of Yuan Ze University and the library of Yuansheng Elementary School, a storytelling performance titled “Journey to the West: A Shared Experience between Yuan Ze and Yuansheng” was launched. The event integrated the art of kamishibai, multilingual teaching, and intergenerational interaction, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter among students of different age groups.
Professor Liheng Xu from the Department of Chinese and History at City University of Hong Kong was invited to visit the Department of Chinese Linguistics and Literature at Yuan Ze University, where he delivered two keynote lectures focusing on the latest developments in digital humanities, artificial intelligence (AI), and Chinese historical and cultural studies.
To help students better understand their career directions at an early stage and strengthen their future employability, the Department of Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics at Yuan Ze University held an “Alumni Sharing Session – Passing Down Experience, Inspiring the Future” on May 20.

Students from the Department of Art and Design at Yuan Ze University recently participated in the “2026 Emerging Artists Exhibition – Recommended Outstanding Graduates from Departments of Art,” which had officially opened at the Dadun Cultural Center in Taichung. The exhibition brought together outstanding graduation works from 16 art-related departments across 13 universities in Taiwan, presenting the diverse artistic perspectives and creative energy of a new generation of artists. The works of Yuan Ze students, characterized by the integration of art and design across disciplines, received high praise from faculty members and visitors.
Yuan Ze University had long emphasized international exchange and academic collaboration. In response to contemporary urban and environmental issues, the Department of Art and Design recently partnered with the Department of Architecture, Tokyo University of Science (Japan), and the College of Technology and Design, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) to jointly host the international design workshop “Reading Our Cities.” The four-day cross-national exchange and design practice was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, bringing together faculty members and students from Taiwan, Japan, and Vietnam.
