In response to the global momentum of sustainable development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Yuan Ze University had long adopted institutionalized governance as the foundation of its sustainability strategy.
The 2026 Taipei International Book Exhibition was held from February 3 to 7 at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center, attracting a record‑high attendance of 580,000 visitors. Faculty members and students from Yuan Ze University continued to participate in this major annual publishing event with renewed creative energy.
Yuan Ze University continued to strengthen students’ global competitiveness as the College of Electrical and Communication Engineering formally signed a memorandum of understanding with Chien Hsin Co., Ltd. to launch the TOEIC Honors Program.
During the 2026 winter break, Yuan Ze University launched the “Mumianhua Northern Thailand International Volunteer Program,” sending a cross-university volunteer team to Hanguang Elementary School in Chiang Rai, Thailand, to carry out international service activities.
Yuan Ze University, through its interdisciplinary teaching practices promoting cultural preservation and educational integration, collaborates with special education students and local groups. Using game design and virtual reality (VR) technology, they transform local culture into innovative learning environments, injecting a fresh perspective into the cultural interpretation of Daxi, Taoyuan.
To promote the integration of digital technology into local cultural education and to strengthen cultural identity among students in remote areas, Qinxian Junior High School in New Taipei City hosted the “Ruifang School Cluster: Mountain and Sea Walkthrough Minecraft Co-Creation Workshop.”
