In response to the rapid rise of generative AI and the profound transformations it brought to learning and career development, Yuan Ze University held the “nuva AI Campus Festival – Yuan Ze University Edition (Taoyuan Stop)” on May 13. As part of a nationwide campus tour, the nuva team visited the University to engage students through career experience activities, keynote speeches, and industry–government–academia dialogues, guiding them to rethink learning pathways, career preparation, and essential competencies in the AI era.

To cultivate students’ global perspectives and critical thinking skills, Yuan Ze University held the “Global Vision × Future Thinking” Yuan Ze Cup International Current Affairs Debate Competition on May 1. The event attracted students from different colleges and academic years, who formed interdisciplinary teams to participate.
The Student Association of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Yuan Ze University participated for the first time in the National Evaluation and Showcase of Student Associations at Colleges and Universities and was awarded an Excellent Award (Second Place) in the Autonomous and Comprehensive category. The association stood out among nationwide competitors, demonstrating outstanding organizational management and diverse achievements with an impressive overall performance.
The annual Longgang Rice Noodle Festival was held with great enthusiasm on April 25. Beyond being one of Taoyuan’s most significant local food events, the festival had gradually evolved into an important platform showcasing multiculturalism and the vitality of local revitalization.
Driven by the rapid advancement of generative AI and its impact on educational innovation, the Bilingual Education Promotion Resource Center of the College of Management at Yuan Ze University hosted a hands-on workshop titled “AI-Empowered New Opportunities for EMI Bilingual Teaching” on April 16. The event specially invited Man-Chen Wang, Education Business Manager of the Public Sector Group at Microsoft Taiwan, to lead the workshop.
Since 2025, the College of Nursing and Healthcare at Yuan Ze University has promoted the “Resilient Taiwan × Disaster Response Capacity Program,” bringing professional healthcare expertise into local communities. Through hands-on instruction, the program strengthened residents’ disaster response skills and self-care health awareness, thereby enhancing overall community resilience in disaster preparedness.
In response to the 2026 Earth Day theme, “Our Power, Our Planet | Earth Power,” the Sustainability Development and Social Responsibility Center at Yuan Ze University organized a series of “Earth Week” activities during the week of April 22.
