ZH Yuan Ze University actively promoted a sustainable campus by introducing another smart initiative. The University installed AI-powered smart recycling machines that transformed the everyday act of disposing plastic bottles into recordable and accumulative low-carbon actions. Through technological applications, the initiative implemented circular economy practices and established a new model of a smart campus that integrated innovation with environmental sustainability.

Amid the restructuring of global supply chains and the accelerated transformation of European markets, Taiwanese enterprises were actively seeking new opportunities for international expansion. The Industry–Academia Alliance for Business Administration Development, Yuan Ze University, held a corporate and policy lecture on April 10, inviting Ambassador Xin-Ying Li to deliver a talk titled “From Diplomatic Experience to Business Practice.”
In response to World Down Syndrome Day, the Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C., in collaboration with Beigang Chaotian Temple, partnered across disciplines with Yuan Ze University to present the “321 Because of You, We Are Together” special exhibition. Held from now until March 29 at the Main Hall of Taipei Main Station, the exhibition conveyed the values of diversity and inclusion through artistic creation and public display, attracting many visitors to stop and view the works.
The College of General Studies, Yuan Ze University, held an off-campus teaching activity on March 28. The event specially invited professional guide Chao-Nung Chan to lead faculty and students on the “Raknus Selu Trail Journey—Exploring the Chuyun Historic Trail.” Through on-site exploration, participants gained deeper insights into Taiwan’s natural ecology as well as its industrial and cultural history.
To strengthen the connection between design education and real social contexts, the Department of Art and Design at Yuan Ze University held an Interactive Design Workshop in Neili, Taoyuan. The workshop invited several well-known professionals from Taiwan’s creative industries to jointly mentor students, guiding them into the community to engage in cross-disciplinary design creation and spatial transformation experiments rooted in local daily life. The event showcased the outcomes of integrating design education with local practice.
The “A‑Sun” Team, advised by Song‑Yu Chen, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yuan Ze University, delivered an outstanding performance at the 27th Robofest International Robot Competition—Taiwan Qualifier, winning first place and showcasing the innovative energy of Taiwanese youth in the field of smart healthcare technology.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yuan Ze University, in collaboration with the College of the Arts, National Dong Hwa University, co-hosted the 2026 Asia-Pacific International Conference on Arts and Humanities—Art × Sustainability: Transformation, Action, and the Future.
