On March 8, in celebration of YZU’s anniversary, the College of Management hosted the Alumni Association General Meeting and Alumni Tea Gathering in the afternoon. The event attracted over 100 alumni, faculty, students, and their families, filling the venue with a warm and lively atmosphere. President Ching-Jong Liao attended the gathering to encourage the alumni and personally presented awards to outstanding graduates. He especially invited alumni to return to their alma mater at least once a year to continue fostering strong connections and contribute to the university’s growth.

To celebrate the 36th anniversary of Yuan Ze University, the Extracurricular Activities Section of the Office of Student Affairs collaborated with the Angel Heart Family Social Welfare Foundation to host a meaningful Tree Climbing Experience on campus. The event invited families with children with special needs to connect with nature, experience the joy of tree climbing, and gain a sense of accomplishment through overcoming challenges.
On March 7, Ms. Oxana Prokhorova, Director of the College of Engineering and Applied Science and Global Engagement Office at the University of Cincinnati (UC), visited Yuan Ze University (YZU) to hold an information session on dual degree programs. The event attracted approximately 70 enthusiastic students.
Yuan Ze University’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature has promoted the interdisciplinary integration of Chinese literature and digital technology, particularly through a collaboration with the Department of Information Communication to offer a "Video Game Production" course.
In response to the global challenges of depleting natural resources and environmental sustainability, the 15th International Green and Sustainable Biotechnology Conference was successfully held from March 21 to 22, 2025, at Yuan Ze University.
The Department of Nursing of Yuan Ze University and Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau Taoyuan International City Education Technology Tour jointly organized the "Nursing Technology Challenge and First Aid Practice Camp", which attracted enthusiastic participation from high school vocational students in Taoyuan City.
On March 10, Yuan Ze University’s School of Nursing held a mental health lecture series in Room 60312, featuring Lin Pin-Rui, author of Hello, I Am a Mortuary Worker, also known as Master Brother. His talk, titled "The Stories After the Full Stop," attracted nearly 100 faculty members and students.
