Yuan Ze University students won both the Gold and Bronze Awards at the 2025 Taoyuan Youth Design Exhibition and International Design Forum, organized by the Taoyuan City Government and held on November 1 at the Taoyuan Convention and Exhibition Center. This year’s event, themed “Genesis Singularity: From Da Vinci to Autonomous AI,” combined AI computation, interactive art, and sustainable craftsmanship, showcasing a dialogue between technology and the humanities.

Yuan Ze University Department of Electrical Engineering Associate Professor Yue-Fang Kuo specializes in the design of integrated circuits for mixed-signal applications, including digital, analog, and radio frequency systems. He had led research projects funded by the National Science Council, teaching practice research projects supported by the Ministry of Education, and industry-academia collaborative projects, making him one of the few scholars capable of bridging industry, government, academia, and research.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University achieved remarkable success at the 2025 Taiwan Academic Network Conference (TANET 2025). Under the guidance of Professor Yi-Huai Hsu, the research team earned two Outstanding Paper Awards in the category of Internet and Cloud Technology Applications, demonstrating the department’s strong research capabilities and forward-looking international perspective.
The 6th “Fun Beida: Kids on the Streets” event, organized by the Taiwan Fun Beida Cultural and Educational Development Association and acclaimed as the “largest street game in Asia,” was held on October 18 in the Beida community of New Taipei City. This year, the event attracted over ten thousand participants, including families and children.
