College of Electrical and Communication Engineering Yuan Ze University, led by Professor Chen Dun-Yu, along with lab team members Sun Yi-Chen, Dai You-Zhe, Lai Jun-Cheng, and Hsu Yu-Chen, in collaboration with the team of doctors from the Far Eastern Memorial Hospital’s Department of Radiology, including Dr. Xie Zhao-Yu, Dr. Chen Jian-Ling, Dr. Qiu Yi-Xuan, and Dr. Zhang Yu-Yun, participated under the lab name YZU MISLab in the Google Kaggle’s world-class competition, AOCR 2024 Acute Appendicitis CT Image Recognition Contest.

In the “Management” course at Yuan Ze University’s College of Management, Professor Chen Huai-Jie integrates the study of management with artistic aesthetics, AI design, chemistry, and sustainable living through cross-disciplinary learning.
