Yuan Ze University demonstrated its exceptional research and development capabilities in the 21st National Innovation Awards, earning recognition for three outstanding technologies.
Professor Chung Kuo-Pin’s Department of Mechanical Engineering team developed the "Next-Generation PEM Water Electrolysis Technology for Producing Low-Carbon Ozone and Negative-Carbon Hydrogen," contributing to the greening of the semiconductor industry.
Professor Shih Yao-Chia from the Graduate Institute of Medicine collaborated with the Cardiovascular Medicine Center of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to develop a technology for "Detecting Arteriovenous Fistula Stenosis in Hemodialysis Using an Innovative AI Auscultation Model."
Additionally, Professor Chen Tun-Yu’s College of Electrical and Communication Engineering team worked with Dr. Kuo Kuan-Hung, Director of the Department of Medical Imaging at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, to introduce an "AI-Assisted Acute Appendicitis Diagnosis System." All three innovations received high praise from the judges.
