To ensure that students stayed abreast of global technology trends, Yuan Ze University held a campus livestream event for NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote speech at GTC Taipei 2026 on the morning of June 1 at the Lecture Hall on the 3rd floor of Building VII.
The event, titled “GTC Taipei NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Keynote Livestream Viewing Event,” was open to both on-campus and off-campus participants, attracting a large number of faculty members, students, and members of the public interested in the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the University, the event had become an annual highlight in the field of technology. The campus livestream event last year had attracted nearly 600 registrants and received enthusiastic responses. This year, as AI technologies had rapidly integrated into daily life, there had been widespread anticipation regarding how Jensen Huang would outline the future of AI-driven innovation. Through real-time livestreaming and on-site interactions, participants were able to gain immediate insights into the latest advancements in the AI computing revolution and stay closely connected with the global technological frontier.
Ching-Jung Liao, President of Yuan Ze University, stated that the University had actively deepened its AI education initiatives in recent years. It had not only taken the lead in incorporating “AI Programming Languages” as a required course for first-year students to cultivate computational thinking from the ground up, but had also actively created an interdisciplinary learning environment to promote the practical application of AI across diverse fields. Meanwhile, the University’s academic achievements had also received international recognition, ranking among the top 200 in the 2026 Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings and being named a Model University for Sustainability in Taiwan, demonstrating its strengths in both teaching innovation and sustainable development.
Liao further noted that co-organizing the campus livestream event for Jensen Huang’s keynote speech for two consecutive years symbolized strong recognition of Yuan Ze University’s capabilities in technological education, while also reflecting its close alignment with global AI development trends. The University was committed to enabling students not only to envision the future, but also to transform their aspirations into concrete achievements through solid AI training and abundant resources, nurturing a new generation of talent capable of shaping the future.
In addition to the livestream, the event featured exhibition booths by NVIDIA and its partner Acer, showcasing the latest AI applications. Lucky draws and limited-edition souvenirs were also arranged, continuing the lively atmosphere of previous years. Through diverse interactive formats, the organizers promoted interdisciplinary exchange and inspired students to develop a deeper understanding and innovative thinking regarding cutting-edge technologies.
As a globally recognized flagship technology conference, GTC had long been regarded as a key indicator of industry trends. Jensen Huang’s keynote not only provided in-depth industry insights but also served as an important bridge between academia and industry. Through this campus livestream event, Yuan Ze University further connected academic research with international technological trends, while serving as an important platform linking high school and university education, helping students broaden their global perspectives and prepare for both the challenges and opportunities of the AI era.
