The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University achieved another outstanding accomplishment. Under the supervision of Professor Yi-Huai Hsu, master’s student Chun-Yen Li received Honorable Mention in the 2025 Best Master’s Thesis Award by the Institute of Information & Computing Machinery (IICM) for his thesis titled “A Deep Reinforcement Learning-Based Coexistence Mechanism for eMBB and URLLC Services in Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Networks.”

The College of General Studies at Yuan Ze University held a micro-course on June 6, inviting Hua-Chiou Lee, Researcher at the Chinese Association of Strategy and Wargaming, as the keynote speaker. The lecture, titled “Wargaming, Strategic Thinking, and Geopolitics,” integrated years of practical experience and military theory, guiding faculty and students to explore issues such as modern warfare, international situations, and peace strategies.

Yuan Ze University held its 2026 commencement ceremony, themed “To Be Continued,” on the evening of June 6 at the plaza in front of Building V on campus. Approximately 2,163 graduates completed their studies this year. The theme symbolized that graduation was not an endpoint, but the beginning of a new chapter in life.
