Assistant Professor Yen-Chang Chen of the Department of Information Communication at Yuan Ze University won the Grand Prize of the Winter Season at the UK-based World Front Design Award 2025 with his work “Moonlight Plate.” This marked his second time receiving the quarterly grand prize, following his earlier win in the third quarter of 2024 for the social creative project “Kao-Bei Cup.”

Yuan Ze University recently announced the recipients of its 7th Distinguished Alumni Awards. In accordance with the Yuan Ze University Distinguished Alumni Selection Guidelines, and following approval by the Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee on December 23, 2025, a total of five alumni were selected this year in recognition of their outstanding achievements in industry leadership, technological innovation, organizational management, and alumni service, as well as their long-term contributions to society and the university.
The Executive Master of Business Administration Program, College of Management at Yuan Ze University, recently held a “Sake Culture Exchange Gathering” at the Glass House on the first floor of Building 6. The event was initiated by industry instructor Jen-Shan Kao, who taught the course “Intelligent Enterprise Management,” and was jointly organized with the EMBA Fellowship Association Lohas Club.
The Department of Art and Design at Yuan Ze University held the final review and critique for its sophomore design studio course, presenting a collaborative project titled “Windcatcher: A Shelter/Furniture for the Invisible Flow.” A total of 34 students participated in the course.
In response to the growing care needs of an aging society, the School of Nursing at Yuan Ze University recently partnered with Bade No. 1 Social Housing to promote a community care initiative. The program was led by Village Chief Yi-Cheng Lu, with the village office coordinating administrative support and supplies.
